Works about the same as my On board audio Realtek ALC11506/23/2018 1:34:51 AM
Pros: When you max out the volume on songs you don't get noise with system and music player volumes maxed.
Cons: Front Panel HD audio connector doesn't mute speaker output (case has HD Audio Connector) when headphones get plugged in.
Has less control panel features than my old Sound Blaster Live 5.1 card dose, no Equalizer support.
Control Panel is basically useless Pointless options, can't even tell you what is plugged into which ports.
Windows Sound Control Panel has more options than Creative's Control Panel.

Other Thoughts: If you got a motherboard with a Realtek ALC1150 and good audio components, don't bother getting this sound card.
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: It seems to be a noticeable improvement over my already good onboard audio. I know that probably isn't a super helpful claim, but I don't want to overstate. I am not an audiophile.
Cons: Makes a high pitched irritating sound when it gets new audio after having none for a while. I am not sure if this is common with audio cards, and there is a chance it can be fixed in the power settings somehow. Not sure. Again, don't want to claim something I am not sure about.
EDIT: I was able to fix this by turning off On-Board Audio in the BIOS.

Other Thoughts: Overall I am very pleased with this product. The sound is amazing when you have good speakers. I have some nice Bose speakers that seem better, plus studio headphones that also sound nice and crisp now. I am not sure there would be any way to improve their sound experience at this point.
